Careful of Companies Claiming to be Canadian!

By Domenic Pedulla | News | December 18th, 2019

Our Company Canadian Food Safety Group and our brand SafeCheck are truly Canadian companies based in Canada. We have offices in Calgary Alberta and a satellite office in Thunder Bay Ontario. We were founded in 1999 and Incorporated in 2000.  We have real people who answer the phone Monday to Friday and offer real support.

Recently clients have brought to our attention that some entities that are offering Food Handler/Food Safety Certification are not really Canadian.  A company claiming to be an educational “Institute” is really a USA company with a similar “Institute” in Australia.

While we always welcome competition and encourage clients to shop around, we do not like when any client is deceived or not given all the information that may be relevant. Please be careful of companies claiming to be something they are not.
